Congress Kit and Name Badge
Upon registration you will receive a Congress kit that includes the printed material of the Congress and your name badge. Please wear your name badge at all times during the Congress and to all official Congress events.

In November, the average temperature for the city starts off at 5.5°C, reaching highs of 9°C during the daytime and lows of 2°C after dark. Enjoy the beauty of the city and the crisp freshness of the beginning of winter. Warm attire is recommended as well an umbrella in case of rainfall.

Transportation from Airport to Congress Venue 
The Hilton Prague is located within walking distance to the city center. The city center is full of local attractions, shops and a lively night scene. The hotel is easily accessible by taxi, train or bus. 
The closest mainline railway station, Masaryk Station is an approximately 14 minute walk away from the hotel. The closest Underground station is Florenc, approximately 3 minutes away from the congress venue.

From Václav Havel Airport Prague 
By public transportation 

Take Bus 119 or 100 in order to reach the closest metro station and from there take metro A or B to the city center. If you choose to take bus 119, travel to the last stop and change to metro A. This will take approx. 25 minutes, costs approximately 1.5 EUR per person.                                                       
Take the Airport Express Bus  from Terminal 1 Exit D which will take you to the central train station near the city center. This will take approx. 50 minutes, costs approximately 2.21 EUR per person.

By taxi
Taxis are available 24 hours a day. The journey time is approximately 25 minutes and costs approximately 28.00 EUR per journey.

Participants from certain countries may require a visa in order to travel to Prague. Participants are requested to check with their local Czech Republic Consulate/Embassy well in advance of their travel date. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa as necessary.   

The local currency is the Czech crown (koruna). 
1 Euro amounts to approximately 27 Czech Koruna.

Official letters of invitation designed to assist with obtaining an entry visa can be downloaded from the Congress website - see invitation Letter. Please note that such letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee or Congress to provide any financial assistance.

The Congress secretariat and organizers cannot accept any liability for personal accidents or loss of/damage to private property of participants of RMD 2016.
